We Really Need Thanos!

Updated: Jul 20, 2020

Well, every year as the month of April nears its end, every homo sapien starts mourning for this ailing planet. The social media and the internet are flooded with posts to save this dying planet of ours. But we don't realise that it's simply impossible. Why?

The above graph explains everything. This is the population EXPLOSION graph, and its nearing some 8 billion humans. And just for your kind information, this planet had resources enough for the sustenance of 4 billion humans. Mind it, I said sustenance not greed. This is the major and by far the only cause to all our problems. Think about it,

  • there's unemployment because there are more hands but less work.

  • countries are fighting for resources, because the demand is very high.

  • there's pollution because there is widespread exploitation of resources.

These are just a few examples. And if you still think that you can save this planet by mobilising the masses, then let me tell you that the Annual Phone Usage generates around 125 million tonnes of carbon, and that would require 125 million full grown trees absorbing carbon for 40 years. Where are you going to get the land from? And this is just a fraction of what is actually generated.

Every year our heads of state meet at a convention to think and workout plans for the climate change, but what they actually do is just cry, cry on their helpless state.

Even the World Health Organisation knows this, but not a single soul on this planet has the guts to do either of these:

  • tell you that the doom is nearing

  • randomly kill half of the population

Thats why I say that what Thanos did was extremely right. "was it inhuman?", I ask you, "What is inhuman?". it's a term made by humans to tell what is wrong and what is right according to their perception. But, is the human perception always correct. Well, at least its not in the case of our planet. I know it's a bit harsh to accept this, but the truth is always bitter. The sooner we accept it, the better it'll be.
